The Global Service Expert, Virtual. & Monitoring Platforms, Technology role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to lead the strategic development, implementation, and management of advanced Monitoring and Virtualization Platforms to ensures seamless support for business operations, focusing on agility, scalability, and robust monitoring and virtualization capabilities.

Major accountabilities:

• Spearhead the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Monitoring Platforms.
• Optimize the performance and functionality of monitoring platforms such as Splunk Cloud, Splunk Observability with OTEL agents, NNMi, NOM, and Network Automation.
• Lead engineering efforts to provide new capabilities to customers and improve existing ones
• Develop and write business logic to enhance monitoring effectiveness and efficiency
• Support the ingestion of new systems into the monitoring platforms, ensuring seamless integration and functionality
• Provide expert-level support for monitoring technologies, serving all application teams utilizing these technologies.
• Oversee the operational health, security, lifecycle management, and reliability of the monitoring platforms.
• Offer 24x7 operational leadership to both internal and external technical teams, ensuring continuous platform availability and performance.
• Maintain strict compliance with IT Governance controls, standards, and practices, including Gx P validation and IT control standards.
• Provide support for the Virtualization function, ensuring that virtual environments are effectively maintained and optimized.

Key performance indicators:

• Feedback on dedicated phases for Project execution (quality, time) -Degree of customization vs configuration of COTS solutions.
• Process efficiency (specific scope) -Steady/Uninterrupted process flow (specific scope) -Completeness and accuracy of Business Process Model (BPM) -local or non-complex processes -Business process documentation up to date (specific scope)

Minimum Requirements:
Work Experience:

• Experienced with advanced monitoring tools, such as Splunk Cloud, Splunk Observability with OTEL agents, NNMi, NOM, and Network Automation.
• Solid experience of working with hypervisor and virtualization technologies.
• Expertise in optimizing and managing monitoring platforms.
• Proven experience in deploying workloads on both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Experience managing hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Demonstrated experience in Service Management or Engineering of a global service portfolio in relevant areas, across various geographies and business sectors.
• Track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in IT Service Management Practices (ITIL Foundation Certification preferred).
• Expertise in IT Infrastructure Management with a strong focus on monitoring technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Compliance and Risk Management, including Gx P validation practices and IT control standards.
• Proven experience in Systems Integration & Build, with a Dev Ops mindset and comprehensive understanding of the full solution lifecycle.
• Exceptional reasoning, decision-making abilities, and problem-solving skills.
• Documented history of successful collaboration across diverse IT teams.
• Customer-centric approach with a relentless focus on service excellence and user satisfaction.
