Garment Quality Assurance Assistant
Roles and Responsibilities
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Schedule:
Expected Start Date: 05/11/2024
- To work in the quality team with an aim to improvise processes, products, co-ordinate QC inspections and quality audits
- To develop, maintain and update a quality manual for apparel manufacturing processes
- The QA Assistant will be responsible for quality from the start of the manufacturing process to dispatch of goods and generation of the GRN from the client
- To ensure the 4-point checking system and fabric testing requirements are being followed at the fabric checking stage
- To observe and survey layering orders, first marker checklists, cutting accuracy and summary reports
- To inspect the daily production reports, rejection reports and audit the processes periodically to ensure accuracy of data and use it in process improvements
- To ensure that fabrics, accessories, packaging material, and other inputs conform with the required standards
- To conduct in-line, mid-line and final inspections before the client's inspection team arrives with an objective to ensure the quality of pieces and packaging
- To conduct trainings for finishing quality checkers, line masters and other staffers involved in manufacturing processes to ensure consistency in quality
- To work as a team with the designer, merchandiser, sampling and production teams
- A degree in garment technology/ textile technology
- Experience of at least 3 years
- Good with English and Hindi communication
- Team playing attitude is a must
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- RIICO Mansarovar, Jaipur, Jaipur - 302020, Rajasthan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Quality Assurance: 3 years (Preferred)
