Position: Field Verification Officer Location: Various locations of Bihar and across India Reports To: Verification Manager Job Summary The Field Verification Officer will be responsible for conducting comprehensive physical verifications of beneficiary who have received various financial benefits from various financial assistance scheme. The primary objective is to ensure the authenticity of claims made by the beneficiary regarding their ongoing work and eligibility for further disbursements. Key Responsibilities Physical Verification: Conduct on-site visits to verify whether they are using received fund for the purpose they proposed. Verify the project details based requirement is fulfilled or not. Ensure that the financial transactions for payment disbursements have been accurately recorded or not. Documentation Review: Check the authenticity of documents submitted by beneficiary, including all documents which was needed for disbursement of fund. Validate disbursed amounts and transaction details between beneficiary and authority. Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed verification reports, duly signed, in the prescribed format to the Verification Manager. Maintain accurate records of verification activities, including the number of cases received, processed, and pending. MIS Reporting: Generate periodical Management Information System (MIS) reports outlining the status of verification cases and other relevant metrics. Ensure timely submission of reports to facilitate efficient processing by company. Work closely with the Verification Manager and other team members to ensure the smooth execution of verification processes. Provide feedback on any discrepancies or issues encountered during the verification process. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Adhere to the guidelines and norms established by company for conducting verifications. Ensure high standards of quality and accuracy in all verification activities. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline, background in finance, education or social work is a plus. Experience: Previous experience in field verification, audits, or related roles preferred. Key Skills: Strong analytical and observational skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in report writing and documentation. Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases efficiently.
