Position Overview:*
Vestor College of Management is seeking an experienced and passionate Advanced Excel and Power BI Faculty on an hourly basis. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI, combined with a strong ability to teach these tools effectively to students pursuing business and management studies.
*Job Responsibilities:*
- Deliver high-quality instruction in *Advanced Excel* and *Power BI* to students.
- Design and develop course materials, lesson plans, assignments, and assessments in line with curriculum requirements.
- Teach data analysis, data visualization, and business intelligence concepts using Excel and Power BI.
- Ensure practical, hands-on learning experiences through exercises, case studies, and projects.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Excel and Power BI features, ensuring students receive cutting-edge knowledge.
- Evaluate students' progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the academic team to align teaching methods with industry demands.
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the improvement of the curriculum
*Qualifications and Experience:*
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel*: Knowledge of formulas, macros, pivot tables, data validation, VBA, data modeling, and reporting tools.
- *Power BI Expertise*: Experience with Power BI dashboards, data modeling, DAX formulas, and visualization techniques.
- *Educational Background*: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
- *Experience*: Minimum 2-3 years of teaching or professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related domains.
- *Certifications*: Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) or similar certifications in Excel and Power BI will be an advantage.
*Skills Required:*
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for students with varying levels of expertise.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to make learning interactive and engaging.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to assist students with real-world scenarios.
### *Working Hours:*
- Flexible hours, with classes scheduled based on faculty and student availability.
- Compensation on an hourly basis, with rates to be discussed based on experience and qualifications.
