Documentation Preparation: Prepare and review all necessary shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and any other required documentation.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all documentation complies with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
Data Entry and Management: Accurately enter and maintain shipment data in the company's documentation systems. Ensure that all records are up-to-date and easily accessible.
Coordination with Stakeholders: Liaise with internal teams (sales, operations, finance) and external partners (customers, carriers, customs brokers) to gather and verify necessary documentation.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any documentation-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner to avoid delays in shipment.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to customers regarding their documentation needs and inquiries, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to documentation processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Candidate Requirements:
Good written English communication
Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
