About the Role: As a UAV / Drone Pilot at Agravity Systems, you will be responsible for the safe and precise operation of agri drones and imaging drones, specifically tailored for agricultural applications. Your role will involve planning, executing, and completing missions, ensuring safe takeoff, flight, and landing. You will also conduct safety tests, oversee vehicle performance, and assess the capabilities of drone systems, aligning them with Agravity's operational standards. You will play an important role in continuous process improvement and in driving innovations. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Pre-flight checks to ensure drones are prepared for safe agricultural operations
Analyze and monitor weather conditions for safe flight planning
Document detailed pre- and post-flight logs for every mission
Monitor drone performance throughout flights
Plan and navigate designated flight routes
Capture aerial data and gather information as required for agricultural applications
Perform equipment testing, troubleshoot, and conduct regular maintenance
Prepare and resolve snag lists for effective operational readiness
Education and Background: Minimum Qualifications:
BE / BTECH in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Aeronautical Engineering
Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and comprehending manuals and technical documents
Skills and Competencies:
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English, Hindi, and local languages
Strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail
Essential Requirements:
Valid 4-Wheeler Driving License
Familiarity with English and avionics terminology to follow training content and manuals
Location & Terms of Service: Primary Location: Gurugram, India (with potential transferability across India) Travel & Accommodation: Agravity Systems will cover travel and accommodation costs while on duty, excluding travel to the office premises in Gurugram from the candidate's hometown. Probation Period: This role includes a 6-month probation period. During this time, performance and suitability for the role will be assessed. Successful completion of the probation period is required for continued employment with Agravity Systems. Contract Commitment: If the contract is voided before the completion of one year, the candidate must reimburse Agravity Systems for training costs, equivalent to two months of salary. Work Hours:
Standard working hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., though non-traditional hours may be required based on customer and operational needs.
