Roles and Responsibilities:
- Patient Care & Treatment:
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations, take patient histories, and order diagnostic tests.
- Provide primary care to patients, including prescribing medication and treatment.
- Perform minor procedures when necessary.
- Emergency Care:
- Attend to medical emergencies, provide immediate care, and coordinate with specialists when needed.
- Handle trauma, cardiac events, and other critical situations effectively.
- Consultation & Follow-ups:
- Offer consultations to patients, providing clear and compassionate advice.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress through follow-ups, ensuring treatment efficacy.
- Collaboration with Medical Staff:
- Work with nurses, paramedics, and other healthcare staff to ensure coordinated care.
- Liaise with specialists for referrals and extended treatment plans for complex cases.
- Health Education:
- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures, hygiene, and lifestyle changes for better health outcomes.
- Address patient queries and concerns, offering guidance on treatment options.
- Record Keeping & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate medical records, including patient history, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Ensure timely and detailed documentation of clinical procedures and patient consultations.
- Adherence to Medical Protocols:
- Ensure all medical practices and treatments adhere to hospital policies and medical guidelines.
- Follow up-to-date medical protocols and keep abreast of the latest developments in healthcare.
- Health Camps & Community Service:
- Participate in or lead health camps, outreach programs, and community awareness initiatives in rural areas as needed.
- Strong diagnostic skills and clinical knowledge.
- Excellent communication and patient management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
- Compassionate approach to patient care and well-being.
