DevOps Architect

Job Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled Dev Ops Architect to take ownership of designing and implementing robust and scalable Dev Ops transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding cloud platforms and CI/CD pipeline setup utilizing the following tools and technologies: Git Lab, JFrog Artifactory, Git Lab CI (or similar CI/CD tools), Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Datadog. Strong expertise in cloud preferably AWS.

Dev Ops Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive Dev Ops strategy, focusing on improving the efficiency and reliability of our software development and deployment processes.
Pipeline Automation: Create, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab CI or equivalent tools, ensuring that the software delivery process is fast, efficient, and error-free.
Infrastructure as Code (Ia C): Utilize Terraform and other Ia C tools to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure, making it easily scalable and maintainable.
Containerization: Manage Docker containers and orchestration using Kubernetes to ensure scalability, portability, and security of our applications.
Configuration Management: Utilize Ansible to automate configuration management tasks, ensuring consistency across our infrastructure.
Artifact Management: Manage and maintain the JFrog Artifactory repository or a similar tool to store and version software artifacts.
Monitoring and Alerting: Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using Datadog to detect and respond to issues proactively.
Security: Implement and enforce security best practices in all aspects of Dev Ops, including code scanning, access control, and vulnerability assessment.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, operations, and QA to facilitate collaboration and streamline the software delivery process.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of Dev Ops processes, best practices, and standards.
Consultation: Being a Subject matter expert in processes and methodologies with ability to adapt and improvise in various situations. Expert in navigating through ambiguity and prioritizing conflicting asks.

Work Experience

12 – 15 years with minimum 5+ years of Dev Ops architect level experience
Expertise in setting up CI/CD pipeline in cloud and on premise.
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Expertise managing and configuring Dev, QA, Staging and Production environments.
Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools.
- Hands on experience in developing docker containers and manage multi deployment in Kubernetes clusters.
Proficient in scripting languages, preferably Python and Shell scripting.
Good knowledge in Source code management using GIT and Gitlab CI pipelines.
Experience in developing and managing Ansible Playbooks.
Experience with managing/integrating static and dynamic quality check profiles in Pipelines.
Knowledge in Repository management tool namely Jfrog, Nexus.
Experience in Source code management using GIT.
Knowledge in code quality using Sonar/Coverity.
Experience in Build/Release management.
