Database Administrator (DBA)
Responsibilities:
Pay: ₹16,101.03 - ₹30,186.50 per month
Benefits:
- Install, configure, and maintain database systems including SQL Server, Oracle, My SQL, or Postgre SQL.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of databases to ensure high levels of data availability.
- Implement and manage database security measures to protect data integrity and privacy.
- Perform regular backups and recovery procedures to safeguard data.
- Design and implement database schema, tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Manage database access and permissions for users and applications.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to database configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize SQL queries and database designs.
- Plan and execute database migrations and upgrades as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices to continually improve database management processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
- Proficient in database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, My SQL, or Postgre SQL.
- Strong understanding of database architecture, design, and administration principles.
- Experience with backup and recovery processes, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Knowledge of database security best practices and tools.
- Familiarity with database monitoring and management tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Power Shell, Python, or Bash for automation.- Added Advantage
- Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines- Added Advantage
- Certification in database management (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator, Oracle Certified Professional, etc.).-Added Advantage
