Tamil Table is a contemporary Tamil restaurant located in an Old Portuguese house in Assagao Goa. The food at Tamil Table is inspired by the kitchens of Chef Karthikeyan’s mother and grandmother in Pondicherry. The spices are sundried and hand-ground in small batches by the ladies of the family in Pondicherry and come together in an authentic setting in Goa. The restaurant aims to create a culinary experience that is honest, soulful, and extremely personal for its guests. The restaurant also has an impressive bar and cocktail menu and houses an exciting concept store of resort wear, vintage collectibles, and fine fragrances.
Role
A dynamic role for an able candidate wanting to grow in Hospitality. Should have the focus, discipline, and vision to help grow the Tamil Table brand.
Responsibilities:
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Role

Responsibilities:
- Cash Drawer: maintaining Cash drawer (counting/ arranging for change)
- Register recording: maintaining Cash register of Tamil Table & Sacha’s shop (recording entries, bill receipt & payment done)
- Vendor payment record: Maintaining paid/unpaid bills for Tamil Table/ follow-up on unpaid bill payment
- Liquor purchased: Maintain Liquor invoice / pay unpaid Liquor bill
- Bar: Bar Store/Cupboard Inventory, check stock, place an order if required/ follow-up on order / check & place an order for other bar items/ non-alcohol drinks order.
- Kitchen: order for grill cleaner/follow up, Face tissue order / some grocery item/ takeaway container order / follow up.
- Reservation: Attend reservation calls, booking/ enter in the resto, attend to special requests, send advance requesting messages to guests for group inquires, check on advance received, maintain a record of advance booking, allocate table, waitlist booking, call if slot available, attend to takeaway orders.
- Petpooja: Receive bill payments, editing bills for cancelled items, move table on PP system, sometime receive payment/ cash payment receiving/ deduct service charge if requested/ note & deduct advance payment for group booking.
- Petpooja IT issues: Raise-up/ Follow-up on issue with regards to the KOT machine/ Petpooja system/ Add follow-up on new items to be added, Edit menu items.
- Menu: Print Menu, added new item, do edit if required.
- IT issues: Tab/Phone/Merchant machine troubleshooting, internet issue raise ticket if loss in the network, biometric machine.
- HR: Maintain attendance, enter new joinee bio-metrics, uniform record, police verification, leave application record maintenance, HK salary payment, Tip distribution
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
