The Cashier plays a crucial role in the smooth and efficient operation. They are responsible for performing cash transactions with accuracy and ensuring the proper handling of funds.
Cashier Responsibilities
- Process Cash Transactions: Handle cash exchanges and accurately count and verify the funds received from customers, including chips, tickets, and vouchers.
- Maintain Cash Drawer: Safeguard and balance the cash drawer throughout the shift, ensuring accuracy in calculations and recording transactions.
- Excellent Math Skills: Possess strong mathematical abilities to accurately count and handle cash transactions, perform calculations, and balance cash drawers.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist and interact with guests.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in cash counting, transaction recording, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Integrity and Trustworthiness: Maintain a high level of honesty, integrity, and professionalism while handling large sums of money and working in a secure environment.
- Time Management: Ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer Literacy: Proficient in using computer systems, cash registers, and other software applications related to cash handling and accounting tasks.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in cash handling, preferably in financial institution.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
Pay: From ₹13,500.00 per month
