Job Title: A Level and ISC Biology Teacher (Female Preferred)
Location: Hopetown Girls' School, (Rajawala Road, Selaqui, Dehradun 248011)

Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Planning and Delivery:
- Teach and deliver engaging and comprehensive Biology lessons for A Levels and ISC classes (Grades 11 and 12).
- Develop lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials aligned with the A Level and ISC biology syllabi.
- Integrate technology, practicals, and modern teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
- Student Engagement and Support:
- Foster a positive learning environment that promotes active student participation, critical thinking, and scientific curiosity.
- Provide additional academic support for students through tutorials, doubt-clearing sessions, and after-school programs.
- Track and assess student progress through regular tests, assignments, and feedback.
- Classroom Management and Discipline:
- Create an orderly and focused learning atmosphere, maintaining discipline and ensuring student well-being.
- Professional Development:
- Keep up to date with changes in the biology syllabus and teaching methodologies.
- Participate in professional development workshops, training, and school-wide meetings.
- Extracurricular Participation:
- Engage in extracurricular activities, including science fairs, field trips, and biology-related clubs or projects.
- Educational Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field (A teaching qualification is preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience in Biology at the high school level, preferably with A Levels and ISC experience.
- Strong understanding of both Cambridge A Level and ISC examination systems.
- Key Skills:
- Proficient in modern teaching methods, including the use of technology for virtual labs and resources.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to motivate and engage students with diverse learning needs and backgrounds.
- A collaborative and innovative approach to teaching.
