Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and qualified Assistant Professor to join our Hospitality and Tourism department. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, relevant teaching experience, and a commitment to student success in the field. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality instruction in hospitality and tourism subjects at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments. Engage in innovative teaching methods, utilizing technology and interactive learning strategies. Mentor and advise students on academic and career-related matters. Conduct research in hospitality and tourism, contributing to the academic community through publications and presentations. Collaborate with faculty on curriculum development and departmental initiatives. Participate in faculty meetings, academic committees, and community outreach programs. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism or a closely related field. Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in an ed-tech company or educational institution. Strong knowledge of current trends and practices in the hospitality and tourism industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to engage students and foster a positive learning environment. Commitment to continuous professional development and research. Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in Hospitality and Tourism or related area (preferred but not mandatory). Experience in online teaching and learning technologies.
