Air Export Operations
- Negotiate pricing for current and potential clients to increase profits while minimizing costs for the company.
- Coordinate spot rates and/or quotations for LCL, FCL, air shipments, and all services within the client’s database.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of industry-related terminology and processes.
- Strategize to enhance profit margins while keeping costs low.
- Manage overall export and import operations effectively.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve air freight forwarding operational procedures for both import and export.
- Lead negotiations of rates and contracts with air carriers.
- Collaborate with sales functions to meet business plan targets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, airlines, and terminals.
- Adjust work schedules flexibly based on operational requirements.
- Assist sales team and line managers with business development and securing new business initiatives.
- Work with pricing, operations, and accounting teams to streamline processes.
- Implement compliance and procedural standards diligently.
- Stay updated on the global freight market and provide relevant information to all parties.
- Communicate pricing desk performance and any arising issues to management.
- Follow up on quotations and provide feedback to support business opportunities.
- Manage the login of all quotes and track client interactions.
- Handle sensitive and confidential documents and information responsibly.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.
- Understand clients’ needs to effectively strategize cost and pricing.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
