We are seeking a dynamic and persuasive Admission Counselor to join our Ed Tech team. This role requires an individual who excels in engaging with students and parents in face-to-face meetings, guiding them through the enrollment process, and ultimately converting leads into paying customers for our online courses. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, has a background in sales or counseling, and possesses excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
Student and Parent Meetings: Conduct scheduled meetings with students and parents to provide insights into our courses, answer queries, and offer guidance.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective students and their families to build trust and understanding of their educational goals.
Sales Conversion: Strategically guide potential students and parents through the enrollment journey, highlighting course benefits, outcomes, and unique features, aiming to convert inquiries into course enrollments.
Customized Recommendations: Assess student interests, academic background, and goals to suggest the most suitable courses and programs.
Follow-ups: Actively engage in follow-up calls, emails, or messages to nurture potential students, address concerns, and encourage sign-ups.
Events and Webinars: Represent the company at education fairs, parent-teacher meetings, and webinars to promote courses and gain new leads.
Market Insights: Gather and share feedback from students and parents to help the team refine courses and services.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Sales, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, admission counseling, or similar roles, ideally within the education or Ed Tech sector.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse age groups.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport and establish trust with students and their families.
Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with strong persuasive skills.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess and respond to the unique needs of each student and parent.
Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM tools, MS Office, and other software related to the role.
