Admission Counselor
Enrollment Targets: ROLE DESCRIPTIONS, QUALIFICATIONS, KRAS & KPIS 1. Admission Counsellor Job Description: The Admission Counselor is responsible for recruiting and enrolling students into the Engineering and Business Administration programs. This role involves guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing information about the programs, and ensuring a smooth transition from inquiry to enrollment. Key Responsibilities:
Engage with prospective students through various communication channels (phone, email, in-person, social media).
Provide detailed information about the Engineering and Business Administration programs, including curriculum, faculty, campus facilities, and career opportunities.
Assist prospective students with the application process, including document submission and financial aid applications.
Conduct campus tours and organise information sessions and open houses.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement recruitment strategies.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application statuses in the admissions database.
Participate in college fairs, school visits, and other recruitment events.
Provide exceptional customer service to prospective students and their families.
Minimum Qualifications: Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialisation in Marketing or equivalent experience in marketing.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in admissions, sales, marketing, or a related field.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of the higher education industry and admissions processes is a plus.
Key Result Areas (KRAs): Student Recruitment:
Achieve monthly and annual enrollment targets for the Engineering and Business Administration programs.
Increase the number of qualified leads through effective outreach and follow-up.
Application Management:
Ensure timely and accurate processing of applications.
Maintain a high level of data integrity in the admissions database.
Customer Service:
Provide exceptional support to prospective students and their families.
Address inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Event Coordination:
Successfully plan and execute recruitment events, such as open houses and campus tours.
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and increase attendance.
