Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with experience in financial management and reporting. As an integral member of our team, the Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting various accounting functions to ensure the company's financial health and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with team members to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies.
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance and trends.
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in accounting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, regulations, and industry practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
