Teaching students about financial reporting standards such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Providing individualized instruction to students who are struggling with material or whose needs are not being met by the standard curriculum
Creating lesson plans and maintaining records of student progress on academic projects
Assisting in the development of new programs, curricula, and materials based on changing education requirements
Training new hires on company policies and procedures pertaining to accounting, finance, or taxation
Conducting staff meetings to ensure that teachers are meeting their professional development goals
Assigning homework and grading tests, quizzes, and other assessments
Preparing reports summarizing students’ progress and evaluating their performance
Developing lesson plans based on state and national standards for educational content
