Job Summary:

The SMETA and Documentation Specialist will focus on determining the costs related to operating machines, mechanisms, and equipment, as well as managing documentation processes in compliance with Client’s standards. This role involves using the Atom Smeta software package, analyzing market data, and translating documents into Russian to ensure accuracy in cost estimation and procurement processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cost Estimation for Machines and Mechanisms:

Utilize Client’s approved reference books to estimate the cost of operating machines and mechanisms.
Perform calculations based on market analysis data to estimate operational costs accurately.
Use the Collection of Average Estimated Prices for the Moscow region and convert these prices into Euro using the Atom Smeta software package.

Cost Estimation for Equipment and Materials:

Determine the estimated cost for each piece of equipment based on market analysis and supply contract prices.
Collaborate with subcontractors to analyze and agree on the cost of equipment, including spare parts, tools, and accessories.
Ensure that all initial maximum purchase prices (NMC) are pre-agreed with the Contractor.

Documentation Management:

Translate all necessary documentation used for determining price indicators into Russian, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Follow detailed procedures for determining final contract prices, work performed, and Payment Key Events.
Apply the "Catalog of Current Prices in Construction for the Moscow region" to estimate costs, converting prices into Euro when necessary.
Utilize standard forms such as the Form of Conjunctural Analysis of Resources and examples for forming NMCs for documentation.

Software Utilization:

Proficiently use the Atom Smeta software package to manage cost estimation, ensuring that all data is accurately entered, analyzed, and reported.
Update and maintain databases within Atom Smeta, including price catalogs and reference books, to reflect current market conditions and pricing standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in cost estimation, procurement, or related fields, preferably within the construction or industrial sector.
Proficiency in using the Atom Smeta software package or similar procurement and estimation tools.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Russian; proficiency in English is required.
Experience in translating technical documents into Russian.
