QA Engineer
Market Sight Quality Assurance Engineer
This is a technical role for the Market Sight team at Dynata. The successful candidate will be deeply involved in the production and support of the Market Sight application. Responsible for direct technical support of clients and executing software QA as part of the Market Sight Development Team.

Drive the creation/enhancement of an automated test suite for UI and API interfaces.

Perform functional testing of new features and incorporate new test requirements into regression test suite.

Investigate, replicate, troubleshoot, and debug customer issues reported through the Client Services organization.

Escalate software bugs with complete explanations and instructions to replicate reported issues.

Support AWS hosting deployments of Market Sight across several regions.

Accumulate expert knowledge of the Market Sight application from both a user and technical perspective.

Participate in scrum cycles with product updates released every two weeks.
Skills and Attributes
-
Solid understanding of software QA methodology and principals.
-
Understanding of CI/CD and BDD (Spec Flow) best practices.
-
Experience writing test plans, test strategies, test automation, and test cases.

Manual and automation testing experience of complex web applications and RESTful APIs.
-
Knowledge of relational databases, MSSQL Server preferred.

Strong written and oral communication skills. All communications with Dynata business and support teams is in English.

Experience creating and executing application load testing.

Experience in public cloud environments and web-services. Preferably AWS.
-
Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues.
Education and Experience
-
3+ years of demonstrable professional Software QA experience.
-
College or University degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
-
Programming and use of test automation technologies such as Spec Flow and Selenium.
-
Experience with trouble shooting/debugging customer issues.
-
Experience with programming/scripting languages; preferably C#, Java Script, Python.
-
Prior use of GIT and Visual Studio and the ability to build applications.

Experience working in an Agile environment.
