Supervision of the Business Unit’ Purchasing (PUR) organization and support of the management of the product area through the independent preparation of analyses and recommendations.
Reporting and preparation of analyses on purchase price developments, provisions, tools and target costing (plan/actual comparisons).
Analyzing the cost impact of ratio projects or raw material impact and deriving overarching recommendations for action on the basis of well-founded, independently prepared analyses.
Take a driving role in the pursuit of ratio projects and challenge the relevant input parameters in order to develop further solution approaches together in a team and thus realize a sustainable successful business case for the product area.
Work closely with the VM-SC purchasing organization as part of supply chain risk management and support the development of sustainable business relationships by analyzing the financial stability of our suppliers.
Initiator for the further development of our controlling processes, systems and methods and successfully implement improvements with interdisciplinary departments.
Short summary of the tasks of PUR Controller:
To bring transparency to Business Unit (VM-SC) material cost structure
Sparring with purchasing Colleagues and tracking the realization of Targets
Material Cost planning for the Planning Cycles (Forecasts & Budgets)
Actual reporting / material cost development tracking
Derivation the Fields of Actions (Fo A) (e.g. major Raw Material Index influence on Business Unit VM-SC)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics / finance / accounting
Fluent Hungarian and professional English is required
Experience in an industrial and international environment
Knowledge and experience in using SAP
Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Relevant working experience in Controlling or Financial analyst position
Your very good presentation skills enable you to act as business partner for colleagues and management
