Purpose of the Role:
We are looking for an OT Security Supporter to assist with IT and OT Security tasks at VELUX Manufacturing sites. This role ensures that production processes run smoothly with minimal downtime, while implementing new equipment and security solutions. The OT Security Supporter will play a key role in safeguarding production through IT/OT security measures and ensuring fast recovery in case of disruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT/OT Security: Develop, support, and execute IT/OT security actions to protect production and ensure recovery processes are in place.
• Guidance and Support: Assist Manufacturing site Superusers with IT/OT security measures and the daily operation of IT equipment.
• Installation and Configuration: Prepare, configure, and install new or replacement IT equipment related to manufacturing needs, collaborating with Unified Support for local tasks.
• Technology Development: Stay updated on new technologies and solution designs to help achieve production, quality, and HSE goals at VELUX Manufacturing sites.
• Incident Management: Handle incident and request tickets, providing problem-solving support from the ticket queue.
• Learning & Development: Continuously develop skills by participating in projects and learning about key technical specifications for production-relevant IT equipment, security instructions, and IT/OT security measures.
• Business Support: Support the business with IT-related tasks to ensure self-sufficiency in daily operations.
• Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Participate in department planning and knowledge-sharing to contribute to a positive and active working environment.
• Troubleshooting: Occasionally participate in outside working hour troubleshooting and support to restore production capacity at VELUX sites (by agreement).

Key Qualifications/Competencies:

• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in IT support, IT/OT security, or a related field.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• IT Systems Knowledge: Familiar with operating systems, PCs, printers, tablets, scanners, and interfaces.
• IT/OT Security: Understanding of IT/OT security principles and practical procedures.
• Network Knowledge: Basic knowledge of IP-switched networks, VLAN, firewalls, and Wi-Fi configurations.
• Communication & Planning: Willingness to develop communication skills, patience, and forward planning to deliver solutions.
• Project Involvement: Interest in project work with a focus on quality and on-time delivery.
• Service Management: Basic knowledge of service management processes.
• Customer Service Skills: Eager to develop in areas related to customer service and technical support.
