Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO)

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) to join our team at WAT Technologies Kft. As a rapidly growing startup in the tech and financial services sector, we place a high priority on regulatory compliance and effective risk management. The MLRO will play a key role in ensuring our compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and maintaining the integrity of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:

AML Compliance Program: Develop, implement, and manage the company’s AML policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

Monitoring & Reporting: Oversee transaction monitoring processes, conduct investigations, and report any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner.

Training & Education: Lead training sessions for staff to promote awareness and understanding of AML requirements, ensuring a culture of compliance within the organization.

Risk Assessment: Conduct and update AML risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all AML activities, reports, and investigations to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.

Policy Development: Keep up-to-date with regulatory changes and best practices, updating company policies and procedures as necessary.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in AML/Compliance roles, preferably within fintech or financial services.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of AML regulations, including those applicable to startups and technology companies.

Skills: Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

Certification: Relevant AML certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA) are an advantage.
