The Instructor position includes teaching classes, developing standard courseware, customizing courseware for specific client engagements, maintaining Education Services environments and components, and supporting the department management function as needed. This position serves a key role within the department and is an important part of the direction for success and achievement of department goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching Performance
Teach a course load appropriate to their field or discipline.
Deliver both public and dedicated instructor-led training sessions at Tungsten Automation training facilities, on the web, and onsite at customer locations
Plan and organize instruction in ways that maximize student learning. Modify, where appropriate, instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse students’ needs.
Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies to communicate subject matter to students.
Update functional and technical training materials (e.g. presentations, exercises, computer-based training, job aids, and process flows) for specific training deliveries based on existing “best practice” training templates
Partner with Professional Services Consultants to develop functional end-user training plans for customer implementation projects following the Tungsten Automation Education Services methodology.
Assume ownership for the success of customer training projects, interacting with customers as needed to confirm training requirements, event logistics and follow-up.
Courseware Development
Contribute to the selection and development of instructional materials by course objectives.
Employ available instructional technology, i.e. the classroom, Internet, interactive technology, video and desktop environments, and remote student applications when appropriate.
Technical Administration and Support
Assist with the maintenance of Education Services' internal environments
Assist with the maintenance of Education Services IT equipment including scanners and training classroom desktops
Other Responsibilities:
Assist with internal training initiatives and ongoing improvement of the Tungsten Automation Education Services department
Provide feedback to Engineering on product features as appropriate

Mastery of Subject
Ability to learn software applications and develop training content using Microsoft Power Point and other standard content development tools within an agreed schedule
Ability to work with databases for learning applications and write lab instruction documents for implementation of the software

Instructor Skills
Familiar and competent with adult learning theories
Familiar and competent with audience engagement techniques for all types of audiences
Familiar with standard training methodologies and deliverables in the software industry
Demonstrated ability to learn and use technology to enhance teaching and the educational experience when appropriate
Strong presentation, training and group facilitation skills.
Demonstrated ability to remain current in their subject matter through professional development, through involvement in professional organizations, and attending professional meetings, conference or workshops.

Language skills:
o fluent in English is required

Required Experience
BA/BS or equivalent
3-5 years of experience delivering IT-based functional and technical training programs to adult learners
Willingness to travel up to 25%
