Responsibilities:

Preparation and implementation of group-wide freight tenders (RFQs, inbound-outbound logistics) and the associated nominations
Conception and implementation of innovative logistics concepts, for example in the area of transport and network optimization
Intensive benchmarking of the market and the players to identify new ideas and solutions
Active participation in the analysis and introduction of state-of-the-art processes and tools
Tracking of action plans and goals (savings potential, CSR, satisfaction indicators, etc.)
Close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders responsible for purchasing in the region and business groups

Requirements:

Successfully completed training/degree in the field of logistics, business administration or similar
3-5 years of professional experience in the purchase of freight and external storage services
Good experience with SAP modules
Confident handling of business and negotiation partners as well as internal departments
Very good knowledge of German and English language both oral and written
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g. Excel, Word and Power Point)
Proactive, enthusiastic, and independent way of working
Occasional willingness to travel
