Primary Responsibilities

The Capital Buyer position is responsible for managing Capital Procurement related activities, providing support on large scale Capital Projects.

Key Objectives

Capital Procurement related activities, including Sourcing and Negotiating with Arconic’s vendors
Creating, maintaining, and updating Capital Purchase Orders
Achieving savings by negotiating price, payment terms, and leveraging existing agreements where applicable
Working with the Capital Procurement Team on large scale Capital Projects
Communicating with both Hungarian and US Arconic Location employees
Solving invoice on hold and related payment issues
Participating on regular calls with vendors and customers
Runnig and providing reports to customers
Supporting ASAT & Audit, managing ad hoc requests from the plant

Basic Qualifications

At least secondary school certificate (university or college degree is an advantage)
Fluent English language knowledge (verbal & written)

Preferred Qualifications

Procurement experience, Capital Project experience
Oracle user knowledge
Self-confidence, learning orientation, global awareness, judgment, interpersonal astuteness, initiative, tenacity is needed.
Collaboration, customer focus, results orientation, attention to detail is essential
An additional European language knowledge is an advantage.
