Major responsibilities

Responsible to assist his/her supervisor in the Facilities Department of the Farm.
Remark: Successful applicants will receive 2 years of on-job training under the guidance of professional Surveyors. The post is supposed to be ended after completion of the above 2-year training. Further engagement if needed will be at the discretion of KFBG.
Responsibility

• Assist in providing technical assistance and project management for maintenance, operation and improvement works and facilities management in the farm;
• Assist in tendering and quotation seeking including preparation of the tender documents and obtaining quotes from contractors and services providers;
• Assist in monitoring and supervising contractors and services providers;
• Carry out routine periodic inspections of the installations, prepare and submit inspection and progress reports;
• Perform periodic stock-taking and prepare materials consumption report;
• Update and monitor records in building, building services and facilities management aspects;
• Prepare CAD drawings.
• Assist in monitoring all environmental, health and safety aspects of the contractors works and report all non-compliance of safety procedures;
• Contribute to various teams within Facilities Department, including Operations, E&M, Building, Procurement, and Contract Management.
• Work according to duty roster and attend emergency call, if required;

Job Requirements

• Commitment to the mission, vision and values of KFBGC;
• Degree or holders of Higher Diploma in Building Surveying, Facility Management or related discipline;
• Experience in facilities or property management related field and coordination between inhouse departments, consultants, and contractors will be advantageous;
• Knowledge in construction procedures, details, materials and project management;
• Knowledge and experience in using Auto CAD and MS Office software, knowledge of using BIM will be advantageous but not a must;
• Knowledge in quality, environmental, health and safety standards;
• Good organizational, interpersonal and time-management skill;
• Good communicate in English and Cantonese;
• Holder of driving license class 1 & 2 preferred;
• Hardworking and willing to learn
• Willing and fit for outdoor duties.
• Mature, self-motivated and be able to work under pressure;
• Open minded and recognizes the validity of all spiritual paths.
