Assistant General Manager, Retail Portfolio
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop licensing and tender strategies to optimize the value of retail space and achieve desired trade mix to suit the requirements of passengers
- Solicit and identify reputable retailers / operators to optimize revenue growth and achieve the revenue budget
- Closely monitor licensees' performance to sustain overall retail business growth for Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA)
- Lead the team to manage licensees in areas such as ambience, cleanliness and product offering, in conjunction with other departments within HKIA
- Maximize airport asset value, explore expansion and reconfiguration opportunities and effective utilization of retail space
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Property Management or related disciplines with at least 12 years' experience in rental sizable organization(s) in airport, transportation or retail landlord sector, including 8 years in managerial capacity
- Well understand the retail landscape and enjoy rapport with the retailers
- A dynamic team leader with strong influencing skills, able to demonstrate a proven track record of creating a successful retail development and retail mix
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various internal and external parties
- Sound knowledge and ability to understand and initiate planning proposals for retail projects with attention to details
- Self-motivated with forward and strategic thinking to develop and lead retail development plans
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua is preferred
