Front Desk Receptionist - Nido

Mar-Bella Nido is currently seeking for a passionate and dedicated Front Desk Receptionist to join our team for the season 2024. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Ultimately, a Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.

Mar-Bella Nido is currently seeking for a passionate and dedicated Front Desk Receptionist to join our team for the season 2024. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Ultimately, a Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Register guests collecting necessary
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with the housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
- Maintain back-office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Control the front office supplies and keep inventory of stock

- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role
- Experience with hotel PMS, like Fidelio and Opera
- Excellent verbal and written command of Greek and English language
- Additional language knowledge would be consider an extra asset (German /French / Russian
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Degree in hotel management is a plus
- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role
- Experience with hotel PMS, like Fidelio or Opera
- Excellent verbal and written command of Greek and English language
- Additional language knowledge would be consider an extra asset (German /French / Russian
