ELPEDISON, with its two privately-owned power plants in Thisvi (Voiotia) and Thessaloniki, with a total installed capacity of 820 MW, uses natural gas as fuel and ensures a clean and continuous electricity flow, based on a highly environmentally-friendly power generation process.
We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to support the Energy Management Division to improve its processes and systems in the context of digitalization. As a Business Analyst you will need to understand cross-departmental interactions and the life cycle of data, identify areas where digital technologies can be employed to streamline processes, enhance efficiency and optimize operations and provide recommendations. In addition you will, gathers business needs and work with stakeholders for projects’ implementation.

We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to support the Energy Management Division to improve its processes and systems in the context of digitalization. In addition you will, gathers business needs and work with stakeholders for projects’ implementation.
What will you do:
- Understand and analyse business processes of Energy Management, while uncovering areas for improvement
- Perform ongoing reviews of business processes, identify and propose areas of optimization/improvement
- Gather and analyse business needs, new demands or trending digital ideas/opportunities
- Be responsible for business requirements documents’ and business cases’ development
- Provide implementation guidance and collect continuous feedback to contain risk and ensure continuous alignment with business needs and priorities
- Collaborate with Business Partners and IT Business Application Analysts and provide assistance during the functional/technical requirements definition
- Support implementation and adoption by providing guidance and training. Work with IT to ensure that systems are properly configured and integrated
- A BSc in Information Systems or Data Analysis, Applied Mathematics or Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
- Excellent written & spoken english
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI or other similar software
- Strong analytical skills to analyse complex data and proccesses
- Problem solving skills in order to identify problems and provide creative solutions to address them
- Good understanding of technology and technical aspects of business processes
- Project Management skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player who can also work independently
- A strong understanding of the energy markets will be considered an asset
