Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain in Greece, is seeking an Assistant F&B Manager to join its team. As an Assistant F&B Manager, you support the Food and Beverage Manager in the daily operations of the department. This includes supervising F&B employees, resolving guest issues and liaising with other departments with care by following the company’s SOPs. Responsibilities
Assist with the training, and development of the food and beverage team
Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the food and beverage department
Ensure all food and beverage services comply with company and legal requirements
Assist with preparing food and drink menus, and ensuring their timely update, review and availability
Ensure efficient stock control, ordering, and stocktaking for all food and beverage outlets
Provide a consistently high level of service, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
Assist with managing the food and beverage department personnel’s schedule and ensuring optimal staffing levels are maintained
Requirements
At least 3 years experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
A degree or diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in English, knowledge of additional languages will be considered as an asset
