Abbott Automation Solutions Gmb H in Hamburg is looking for Production Design Transfer Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the Device Master Record (DMR) transfer process into production
Review of R&D DMR packages incl. creation of configuration and configuration management
Main contact for suppliers/production partners in case of questions related to the product configurations or documentation (DMR)
Interface between R&D, SCM and production partner
Follow-Up, co-ordination and alignment on production planning and efficiency increases
Shortage management, implementation of countermeasures and first contact for all kind of production issues reported from production partner or coming out of the field
Supplier Management incl. support for on-market projects and changes
Support and troubleshooting for on market issues with direct impact on customer deliveries
Alignment with suppliers and production partners on technical changes
Co-ordination and management of Design Plans in regard to all Operations related topics
Onboarding of new suppliers
Participating and leading supplier calls incl. meeting minutes and follow-ups
First Article Inspection in alignment with process
Ensure supplier processes are aligned with Abbott standard
Supplier visits and on side support

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training background in Science or Engineering or Business Administration
Experiences in the areas production, production control/management, Design Transfer, supplier management, R&D or Industry knowledge with demonstrated technical capability are helpful
Experiences in supplier management or co-operation with production partners
Very good verbal and written English and German communication skills
Strong use of spreadsheet programs and data analysis expertise (mandatory very good Excel knowledge)
Strong sense of personal accountability
