Laboratory Assistant (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
In this position you will be responsible for various laboratory techniques such as cell culture, q PCR and Western blot, but also for standard laboratory processes

Cell culture of cell lines and primary cancer cells
RNA extraction, q PCR, Western blot
Transformation, Miniprep, Maxiprep
Transfection, Transduction
Preparation and aliquoting of media and reagents
Preparation of lab consumables (e.g. coating of cell culture vessels)
Cleaning and maintenance of laboratory instruments
Coordination of maintenance for laboratory instruments with service contracts
Ordering, receiving and inventoring laboratory consumables
Autoclaving and waste disposal

Our Requirements

MTA/CTA/BTA training
Working Experience in a research laboratory
Experienced in working with cell cultures under sterile conditions (essential)
Fluent in English and German
Alternatively this job is also appropriate for a student of biology (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) as a working student position
