We are looking for a dedicated Agent Inhouse Sales to start in one of our offices in Frankfurt (Main), Stuttgart, Munich, Hamburg or Düsseldorf.
The Agent Inhouse Sales is responsible for supporting sales activities by ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries, managing quotes, and facilitating bookings. The role is crucial in maintaining a high standard of customer service and ensuring that all processes are followed according to company guidelines.
1. Responding to Customer Sales Queries, Managing Bookings, and Follow-up:
Prioritize incoming quotes according to established guidelines
Adhere to pricing guidelines to offer competitive quotes that help secure new business
Provide swift responses to customer inquiries, including ad-hoc and urgent (spot) requests, by utilizing Cargo Lux tools (LEAP).
Offer multiple options on quotes to ensure customers always find a suitable solution in terms of price and time.
Coordinate special cargo requests with internal stakeholders, such as Regional Managers and Global Logistics.
Promote the use of Cargo Lux’s value-added services.
Direct customers towards using Cargo Lux’s digital sales channels to increase awareness and utilization.
Assist customers with booking confirmations through digital channels to prevent potential booking failures.
Notify customers of any changes in the initial quotation parameters.
Update all booking-related information before the pre-flight phase.
Ensure all bookings are correctly completed, including applicable rates, special cargo codes (SCCs), and additional charges.
Ensure all bookings meet compliance and regulatory checks prior to departure.
Proactively follow up on pending offers by phone and email.
2. Ensure Customer Service and Sales Activities:
Actively contact potential customers in cases of short-notice space availability.
Provide relevant market information to the Sales Management team.
Manage CV-Product and CV-Pricing requests in coordination with the responsible team.
Coordinate CV-Product/CV-Pricing bookings, ensuring adherence to agreed processes and continuous communication with the customer.
Monitor daily work using available data and dashboards to ensure efficiency.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
Secondary technical education or accomplished apprenticeship with focus on logistics or any other relevant field
First work experience is considered as an advantage
Familiarity with Cargo Lux systems and tools such as LEAP (or similar cargo management software) is preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks
Strong written and oral communication skills in German and English
Feeling comfortable to work in a team as well as autonomously
Proficiency in MS Office
