We are now looking for a System Manager to join the Nuclear IT team at Fortum!
About the role In this role, you will:
Manage and coordinate maintenance and development of IT applications in your responsibility area.
Engage in continuous information exchange with business and other internal IT organizations and cooperate closely with local IT vendors.
Follow up on vendor service levels and manage changes and application releases with both internal and external resources.
Manage application IT service support processes: Incident, Problem, Change and Release management.
Ensure availability of the systems (business continuity) according to business requirements (SLA) and right cost level. Also support business to utilize, improve and develop operations using IT.
Handle financial management of application IT costs, budgeting and cost follow-up.
You will be part of the Business IT Nuclear IT team consisting of 12 people, and you will be located in Loviisa. This position involves on-call duty.
About you
We are looking for a person who is familiar with the culture and ways of working in a nuclear power plant, with an understanding of nuclear regulations. You are a team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills. You are very thorough in your work and deliver on agreed deadlines. Additionally, you are flexible and ready to take responsibility of tasks allocated to you, depending on business needs.
To succeed and thrive in this role, we see that you have:
At least 5 years of work experience in a relevant field as well as relevant academic education.
Knowledge and experience of good IT practices and Service Management (ITSM).
Experience from the nuclear field.
You have functional and technical knowledge of business applications, especially experience in managing IBM Maximo or equivalent. Enterprise Asset Management applications is seen as an advantage.
You are comfortable in writing documents, various plans, assessments and instructions to internal and external parties, including authority correspondence. You are also familiar with the process of document handling from start to finish.
You have excellent written and spoken skills in Finnish and English. Other languages are an advantage.
Other IT skills such as general windows and linux knowledge, information and IT security, AI, digitalization skills etc. are considered an advantage.
