Your role and responsibilities
In this role, working within Drive Products Product Management team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our training programs, ensuring our sales teams are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively promote and sell our products. The Product Training Manager will collaborate closely with product management and sales teams to develop and maintain comprehensive training programs as well as monitor their effectiveness. The role also includes training offering for partners and customers. The role holder needs to demonstrate considerable personal leadership and influencing skills in non-hierarchical settings within his/her scope of operations and collaboration with other Regional Training Managers. This role is located in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki You will be mainly accountable for: • Assess product training gaps and improvement areas • Define a roadmap to deliver product trainings consistently with the business needs • Collect material and create training content per product/product lines in collaboration with Product Management, Segment and Application Management teams and Marketing and Communication team • Evaluate and continuously improve training materials and programs based on feedback from trainees and performance metrics • Actively promote new and existing product trainings internally • Understanding competence levels and recognizing needs for training globally and locally
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or business administration.
Fluent English language skills, additional languages are of advantage.
Proven experience in training & course development is a must, preferably within a technology or B2B sales environment. Few years of working experience in a relevant field. International work experience is an advantage.
Basic technical understanding of electrical drives or similar products.
Ability to work in a multinational environment and in a matrix organization.
Knowledge of electrical drives business, industry segments and key applications, sales process, and the organization is an advantage.
Ability to take initiative and to be an active team member to ensure training execution from all stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to measure training effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
