Pricing Analyst

Within our Business Line Advanced Materials, the Pricing team is looking for a Pricing Analyst, whose mission is to support building a robust and sustainable approach to value pricing for our highly specialized products.

Your role
- Develop best-in-class pricing analyses and processes jointly with cross-functional teams to drive the profitability of products and solutions
- Ensuring clear & concise insights to stakeholders, at all levels within the organization, using exemplary presentation skills
- Find opportunities for Outokumpu to market and price its value propositions of Advanced Materials
- Derive and implement prices for established and new products in a market environment with strong long term growth opportunities
- Partner with Sales to develop competencies focused on providing customers with profitable best offers
- Drive value capture by applying product and customer differentiation logic and global guidance on discounts/ rebates, and surcharges
- Support on constant Digital improvements for Commercial pricing, Reporting, Analytics
- Evaluate product portfolio proposition as well as product profitability, stakeholders, and competitors
About you
- Masters degree in business, finance, or economic discipline (or comparable several years of experience in a Pricing role)
- Intercultural and empathetic competencies & Good business acumen required
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Experience in another relevant industry, in IT/systems or Finance role a plus
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and distinctive understanding of numbers
- High sense of urgency, Resilient, strong self-motivation, and good level of autonomy
- Advanced capabilities in Excel and Power Point, experience of Power BI & SQL is a plus
- Customer oriented mindset, capability to build internal and external stakeholder relations

Position location is flexible within Europe (using an Outokumpu site as a base, with flexible working opportunities available). A willingness to travel is preferred, if needed as part of project work.
