Bee Healthy has just started its journey and is in a strong growth mode. We are currently +80 dedicated professionals based in Helsinki, Tallinn, Amsterdam and Dubai, expanding both domestically in Finland and across the EMEA region.

As a Database Administrator you will:

Maintaining agreed governances regarding infrastructure such as quality and information security
Sparring developers and spreading knowledge - streamlining the development work when it comes to database related matters
Basic maintenance, keeping the heart beating
Disaster recovery scenarios
Cost-conscious decision-making
Optimizing the databases, choosing the right database type for an API
Looking after Index maintenance, statistics maintenance (automated)
Database tuning, both reliability and performance
Possible migrations
Support for reporting and analytics

What we wish from you:

Knowledge of a modern cloud environment and different database options available in the cloud and how databases are linked to other resources in the cloud (AWS, Azure at least)
Strong DBA knowledge, a person who’s done this and that and is able give answers without studying the subject for several days
Knowledge of various database types and when to use one.
Ability to design and implement scalable solutions using modern tools
Preferably experience of working with production systems over several years
Security knowledge
Good communication and teamwork skills
Strong Postgre SQL experience very beneficial and MS SQL server knowledge a plus
