We are offering you an exciting position as Area Managers in our Helsinki office to manage Varjo’s business in North and East Europe.
Job description We are looking for an organized and hands-on salesperson with excellent communication and negotiation skills and a passion for technology. You have prior B2B sales experience, ideally in emerging technology or hardware industry, with skills in account-based marketing (ABM) and lead generation (hunting). In this role, you will leverage these skills to drive sales growth by building a B2B pipeline, from identifying potential leads to closing deals, while engaging daily with prospects and customers from the world’s leading enterprises. In your Area team you will have Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives, and you will work closely with our Solution Engineers. The company is in a high-growth mode right now, so we are looking for people who are quick learners, like solving problems, and have an entrepreneurial spirit. And, most importantly, you are used to exceeding targets wherever you go.
What you’ll be doing
Drive sales growth: acquire new business by taking ownership of your sales pipeline from outbound proactive activities, qualified leads to closed deals.
Be accountable and own your business - being able to provide an accurate and rolling 3 months forecast on a weekly basis.
Manage a group of Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives, however managing part will take 20% of your time. Your main focus will go on B2B sales.
Manage Varjo’s value-added-reseller network and system integrator partners within the Area
Professionally engage with prospective customers to build trust, identify needs, provide value, and close business, across a variety of channels
Maintain a high level of activity and work ethic to continuously meet and exceed sales targets and land new customers
Develop a high level of domain expertise within VR/XR, our products, and our customers’ businesses
Our expectations
5+ years B2B sales experience, preferably in emerging technology or hardware sales
Proven track record of closing business and exceeding sales targets
Strong command of the B2B sales playbook and relevant technology
Any form of leadership experience is valuable, but we don't require you to have formal team management experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills in English, if you master Swedish or any other East European language it is seen as advantage
Experience in the Defense and Aviation industry is a plus.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or technology, or equivalent practical experience
Hybrid role, based in capital area
Willingness to travel up to 50% of working time
