Perform all QC, QA, conformance, and technical tasks related to localization asset check, reformat or delivery to internal or external parties in different business lines such as OTT, broadcast, and CEA
Adhere to client spec and internal checklists and workflows
Review technical specifications to recommend checks for quality control process and to facilitate R&D for possible automated checks
Continuously research and identify new tools and systems to enhance operational workflows
Update workflows and checklists according to client specifications as needed
Participate in training and development activities in the Localization Department within the scope of Subtitling Technical Services and use the knowledge gained through training in performing day-to-day tasks
Other tasks as assigned to fulfill responsibilities
Requirements
Bachelor degree in translation, linguistics, media or relevant majors
Advanced Korean language is a must for this role
1-2 years of experience and/or education in localization (subtitling or dubbing)
Some experience in digital media, entertainment, audio or video editing or translation
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to perform under pressure with changing priorities and tight deadlines, and to shift between different client requirements and style guides
Positive attitude toward teamwork, learning new skills and handling different projects
High level of attention to details, accurate and methodical approach to testing, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
