Design and develop 3D models of castings using Solid Works software.
Create detailed 2D drawings and CNC files for pattern production.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production staff to ensure that designs meet specifications and requirements.
Conduct feasibility studies and analyze design options.
Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
Stay updated on the latest Solid Works software and industry best practices.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience with Solid Works software, including 3D modeling, drafting, and simulation.
Strong understanding of casting processes and materials.
Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
