Responsibilities:

- Design and develop 3D models of castings using Solid Works software.
- Create detailed 2D drawings and CNC files for pattern production.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production staff to ensure that designs meet specifications and requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze design options.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
- Stay updated on the latest Solid Works software and industry best practices.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience with Solid Works software, including 3D modeling, drafting, and simulation.
- Strong understanding of casting processes and materials.
- Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
