Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your Railway expertise in a new cutting-edge field. To take responsibility for Power Supply & Distribution (PS & D), Track Switch Beams, and Power Rail maintenance focusing on asset life cycle management, leading the preventive and corrective maintenance activities based on the approved plans. To guarantee the stability of infrastructure system. We will be looking to you to: Quality, Health, Safety & Environment
Manage safety systems and processes.
Manage quality systems and processes together with QA.
Conduct accident/safety investigations.
Technically
Manage Infrastructure equipment Maintenance.
Strong commitment to the job responsibilities.
Achieve the quality and performance targets set for the assets comply with company policies.
Promote team spirit, fulfil all duties as specified in legal appointment.
Follow up on technical objectives related to the quality and efficiency of the maintenance activities
Make and follow up annual maintenance plan.
Conduct investigations into failures and ensure implementation of recommendations.
Manage staff and maintenance of the transit systems with respect to safety, quality, and technical issues.
Ensure all environmental and safety rules are respected and alert Executive Maintenance of any environmental or safety issue.
Ensure maintenance plan is executed effectively and equipment is running as required. Adhere to continuous improvement principles.
Ensure minimum levels of equipment downtime including timely and effective response to breakdowns.
Ensure that all agreed routine plant checks and testing are carried out to the specified frequencies and in accordance with the maintenance plan.
Analyze and rectify equipment defects in a timely manner to avoid downtimes.
Conduct analysis on obsolescence treatment and propose renewal.
Interviewing and selecting technical candidates for the open vacancies in the department.
Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Knowledge:
MV, LV, and DC Traction Power Supply System
Track Switches
Decision making
Safety Management
Advance technical knowledge
Document Review cycles
Advance technical knowledge
EAM such Maximo/ GSI
Experience:
At least 7 years’ relevant experience in infrastructure maintenance environment.
Rail or Metro Experience is plus.
Fluent in Arabic & English Language.
