ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
To carry out quality inspection to ensure the shipped products conform KONTOOR BRANDS quality requirement and timely execution.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Include but not limited to
- To work closely with the GS, Wash Tech and Merchandiser during the Pre-production stage to review Style Construction Details, Risk Analysis and CTQ Identification.
- Monitor productions closely and provide technical support to ensure quality meets specifications and that there is no quality complaint.
- Work according to KONTOOR BRANDS QA Related SOP’s and the same is followed by the Supplier.
- Communicate proactively, effectively and as often as necessary with all personnel in the QA and Merchandising Team, in Obtaining accurate information and notifying product quality issues.
- Troubleshooting if encounter any quality problems in the production, by escalating to the relevant teams and to seek required technical support when necessary.
- Conduct statistic quality audits. Fill out inspection report in every production stage (PP, In-line, Final).
- Regular check on accuracy of reports, timely completion and update (NGS, SPecs Fas, CAP’s).
- To assure all factory Assigned QC are well trained and qualified to conduct Pre-final and Self-Final audits of KONTOOR BRANDS products.
- To provide Quality and Technical guidelines to respective factory QA’s & Assigned QC’s.
- To follow up on Product Quality CAP implementation and completion.
- To follow up on PQI CAP progress, implementation and Completion.
- Monitor all vendors follow KONTOOR BRANDS Term of Engagement, Vendor Code of Conduct and other rules and regulations.
- To establish a good relationship with factory to facilitate problem solving and effective Quality Assurance System.
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
Include but not limited to
- At least 5 years of relevant experiences as a QA Inspector in a Brand, Liaison office, Agent and not less than 5 years working in an Apparel Manufacturer's Quality, Technical, Sample Room.
- Experienced in effective communicating with internal stakeholders and vendor's laundry team
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Access).
- Proficient in English and local language for both speaking and writing

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Graduate from reputed institute / university
- Apparel Technical/ Quality Assurance related certificate/ Diploma
