The role of the QA/QC Supervisor is to maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company’s Security, Compliance & HSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices and complies with the Company’s Rules to Live By
Responsibilities:
Lead External (Tenaris, VAM, JFE, GP, API) & Internal Audits
Quality & Repair of Pressure Control Equipment
Maintain a Document Control System in Place.
Initiate training along with Department Heads in the countries and make proper arrangements for sending the personnel to the training.
Participate in all QHSE meetings and to report any non-conformances, Near Miss Incident and QHSE Improvement according to the QHSE System.
Ensure OEPS and related processes are understood & adhered to by all staff.
Oversee all workshop quality control and quality assurance activity performed by workshop personnel.
Responsible for maintaining the service history files for rental tools and compiling job package documentation.
Responsible for controlling and maintaining a calibration Management System of: Workshop Equipment’s, Testing, Detections and Measuring Equipment’s.
In case of concerns with safety, quality non-conformances, or integrity concerns, exercises ‘Stop Work Authority’ to suspend operations.
Recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality to increase efficiency.
Coordinate the start up of new operations with a close attention to detail.
Ensure all quality data required by customers is delivered and presented.
Manage all issues affecting service delivery in a timely manner.
Ensure controls are in place to guarantee compliance with government regulations in relation to quality.
Must be able to perform basic problem solving and troubleshooting when needed.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Provide onsite services when needed.
Recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality to increase efficiency .
Requirements:
Experience of Pressure Control Equipment is essential
8-10 years experience in a similar role
Previous supervisory experience is required
Experience of either Tenaris, GP, API, or JFE
Fluent English written and verbal
Engineering background
Able to work Under pressure
A team player able to work closely with fellow employees at all levels in the organization.
Individual must be a self-starter, problem solver
Ability to communicate and collaborate with customers, suppliers, and third-party auditors.
Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel computer skills
You must be eligible to work in Egypt without a visa
