Kotn is looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious Operations Coordinator to join our Supply Chain Team. As an essential part of the Logistics & Inventory Team, you will work to coordinate, analyze, and report on the company’s duty drawbacks, inventory, and logistics as we strive toward best-in-class supply chain and working capital management. This is an exciting opportunity, integral to the growth and success of the Kotn Supply Chain. What you’ll be working on: Auditing and Compliance (25%)
Audit supplier commercial paperwork for compliance.
Audit import/export to ensure accuracy of data and eligibility for duty drawback.
Assist with creation and maintenance of a Duty Drawback Program to reconcile paperwork and retrieve duty paid on eligible imports.
Logistics and Inventory Coordination (25%)
Assist freight forwarders and customs brokers with import/export issues related to all shipments.
Coordinate inbound inventory receiving with 3PLs.
Maintain the company database of stock-keeping units and manage it on all platforms.
Documentation and Reporting (25%)
Maintain proper documentation management and file/record-keeping systems to ensure all records are accurate and easily accessible.
Provide management with timely reports.
Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, records, and maintaining databases.
Stakeholder and Process Management (25%)
Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure policies and guidelines are respected throughout the workflow processes.
Provide necessary support and resources to departmental and cross-functional staff.
Follow up with internal and external stakeholders daily to identify and resolve various issues.
Support continuous improvement initiatives as they pertain to logistics and distribution management.
Ensure proper company warehouse and supply-chain procedures are followed.
Create, improve, and maintain an organized system.

Additional Requirements:
Proven work experience as an Operations Coordinator or similar role
English, full professional proficiency
Effective communication, including speaking, writing, active listening
Good time management, prioritization and multitasking abilities
High level of analytical and problem-solving skills
Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics/IMS software (ERP)
Experience with customs documentation
Solid experience in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent people skills, and a positive, solutions-focused mindset
Highly organized and able to see tasks through to final completion
Flexible and proactive with regards to day-to-day work
Willingness to work afternoons/evenings to align with the Head Office (Toronto) working hours
Ability to commute to Egypt office as needed
