Join the Global Maritime Consultants Group (GMCG) in Egypt as we seek a knowledgeable and experienced Marine Surveyor. This role is pivotal for someone passionate about ensuring compliance and safety in marine operations and structures.
Position Overview
- Job Title: Marine Surveyor
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Seniority Level: Mid-Senior Level
- Conduct detailed surveys on vessels and marine structures, both during and post-construction.
- Ensure compliance with applicable class rules, maintaining vessel classification.
- Verify adherence to statutory and special service requirements related to SOLAS Convention, Load Line Convention, Tonnage Convention, MARPOL Convention, etc.
- Provide thorough and accurate reports on survey findings.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the marine field.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
