We’re looking for a Dev Ops engineer who can be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers’ needs. The ideal candidate will have an understanding in software engineering lifecycle, master at least one programming language, and be familiar with Dev Ops tools. The Dev Ops engineer will work with developers and testing engineers to ensure that software development follows established processes and works as intended. The Dev Ops engineer will also help plan projects and be involved in project management decisions. Objectives of this role
Building and implementing new development tools and infrastructure
Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying them to developers
Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes
Working with software developers and test engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
Planning projects and being involved in project management decisions
Responsibilities
Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience
Maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure a high availability of our Saa S services
Develop and execute disaster response plans
Develop scripts and pipelines to integrate with internal back-end systems
Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
Develop scripts to automate visualization
Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Required skills and qualifications
Experience as a Dev Ops engineer or in a similar software engineering role
Experience using various AWS resources and deployment process
Strong knowledge of IT network fundamentals
Proficiency with Git, and Github Actions
Proficiency with at least one programming language
Working knowledge of databases
Problem-solving attitude
Collaborative team spirit
Preferred skills and qualifications
Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
Experience with Mongo DB Atlas
