We are seeking a highly skilled Data and Automation Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will leverage Microsoft Power Platform for creating innovative solutions and Power BI for data analytics. This role demands a deep understanding of both platforms, along with a passion for driving data-driven decision-making and automation.

We are seeking a highly skilled Data and Automation Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will leverage Microsoft Power Platform for creating innovative solutions and Power BI for data analytics. This role demands a deep understanding of both platforms, along with a passion for driving data-driven decision-making and automation.
What you’ll do
Develop and Implement Solutions:
- Design, develop, and deploy custom solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents).
- Automate business processes and workflows to increase efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
- Utilize Power BI to create comprehensive, insightful, and actionable data analytics reports.
- Transform raw data into meaningful insights to support business decision-making.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and deliver training on new tools and systems.
- Ensure the reliability and performance of deployed solutions.
- Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing Power Platform and Power BI applications.
- Adhere to Astra Zeneca’s data privacy and security standards.
- Ensure solutions comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Promote and implement best practices in data management and solution development.

Applicants should possess the following qualifications to go through initial screening:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is preferred
- Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps (Canvas and Model Driven), Power Automate)
- Extensive experience in Power BI for data analytics and reporting
- Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, and data visualization techniques
- Familiarity with Share Point Online and other Microsoft technologies
- Knowledge of SQL, DAX, and other data manipulation languages.
