Role Overview: As an Application and Deployment Support Developer, you will be responsible for providing support for application deployments, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of financial applications. You’ll work closely with development, QA, and Dev Ops teams to implement and maintain application deployment processes in a high-availability environment. Key Responsibilities:
Support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of fintech applications across various environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to application performance and deployment.
Automate deployment processes using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve application deployment workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure zero-downtime deployments and assist in disaster recovery planning.
Monitor application performance and availability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic
Required Skills:
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI) and version control (Git).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python) for automating tasks.
Familiarity with SQL/No SQL databases (e.g., Postgre SQL, Mongo DB) and their deployment processes.
Strong understanding of application security and best practices, especially in fintech (e.g., PCI-DSS).
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in the fintech industry.
Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and tools for continuous delivery and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.
