Introduction
IBM Application Consultants work directly with our clients on key initiatives. You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of their business issues and implement organizational strategies that drive adoption of change. We are looking for experts who can build credibility and trust with our clients and provide knowledge that addresses individual and unique business needs.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Prepares gap analysis document and/or design a proposed Dev Ops adoption roadmap; use to analyze the clients' IT environment for achieving better efficiency using Dev Ops methodology and tools in conventional or Cloud environments on hyperscalers like (Azure, AWS and IBM)
• Define the Dev Ops tooling infrastructure and the interface requirements among the various tool sets.
• Possesses skills in popular Dev Ops automation tools, can perform installation and configuration of these tools on cloud or non-cloud infrastructure. Understands the project and application context and accordingly configure the Dev Ops tools, setup continuous integration for automated and continuous builds, develop build script and versioning, build packaging and deployment on the server, and setup continuous testing. Has knowledge of software engineering processes, coding, Dev Ops best practices, SDLC processes.
• Analyzes the software build and deploy requirements for a project; portfolio or account and define the architecture using the necessary tools like Kubernetes, Red Hat Open Shift, Terraforms, Jenkins, etc..

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• +2 years of experience.
• Has Broad technical experience of Cloud infrastructure and Platform solutions along with a strong understanding of cloud architecture of hyperscalers like (Azure, AWS and IBM)
• Has deep knowledge of the cloud platform components, as well as understanding of architect solutions using the components, oversee solution implementations and recommend changes based on operational issues.
• Has Azure expertise in configuring and managing core Azure services such as Azure Active Directory (AD), Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Registry (ACR) and Azure key vault. As well experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure DB and App Service.
• Providing expert analysis to troubleshoot difficult technical and functional-related issues and problems across multiple Cloud technologies, with a focus on ensuring service transition is well planned and executed Dev Ops role like (Azure Pipeline, Azure repos & Azure Dev Ops tools)
• Enables innovation through cloud services and having breadth across technology stacks with hands on skills. Builds architectures & provides prescriptive guidance across the cloud platform's network, storage, operating systems, virtualization, database and monitoring components.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with build and deploy requirements for a projects using the necessary cloud platforms and Dev Ops tools tools like Kubernetes, Red Hat Open Shift, Terraforms, Jenkins.
• Experience in writing automation using Unix Shell scripting, Nexus Repository Manager OSS.
• Experience in creation and maintenance of Source code repositories/branches such as Git.
• Experience in continuous integration tools - Jenkins/Tekton.
